The annual 10-week Camas Prairie Trapshoot started this past Sunday, January 14 with Lowell Mader shooting the only perfect score of 25 at Cottonwood Gun Club. There were 48 shooters in very cold conditions. Shooting near perfect 24’s were Derek Schaeffer, Shane Poxleitner, Gordon Harman, Jacob Wimer, Jeremy Ross and Ben Schumacher The Junior/High School top 5 were: 20-Tristian Mader, Leon Bennett; 19-Owen McIntire, Lane Mader and 18-Levi Wassmuth. The shoot continues each Sunday at Cottonwood Gun Club through March 17. New shooters are always welcome. |
