The St. John Bosco Patriots will open District play on Monday, Feb. 19 with a play-in game against Highland at Craigmont at 6 p.m.
The Patriots are the #6 seed and Highland is the #3 seed. The winner of that game will move on to the double-elimination portion of the bracket on Tuesday, Feb. 20. If St. John Bosco wins they would play Kendrick at 7:30 p.m. at Lapwai. If Highland wins they would play Deary at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
#4 seed Timberline hosts #5 seed Nezperce in the other loser-out game on Monday at 6 p.m.
Tuesday’s winners play at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 for the District championship while Tuesday’s losers play at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The winner of that game plays the championship game loser on Friday at 7 p.m. for second place and a state berth. All these games would be a Lapwai.
