Health Walks start April 6
The St. Mary’s and Clearwater Valley Health 2024 Walk the Prairie and Beyond health walks will start on April 6 with a walk starting at Pine Bar on the Salmon River.
The walk, hosted by Cottonwood Fit-n-Fall Proof wil start at the Pine Bar Campground with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. There will be a guest speaker at 8:45 a.m. and the walk itself will start at 9 a.m.
All ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate. Prizes will be drawn at every walk and there is no charge to participate.
There are 6 additional walks scheduled for this Spring:
April 13-Orofino, meet at Dworshak Dam Visitor Center.
April 20-Kamiah, meet at Clearwater 12 Motel east side  parking lot
April 27-Kooskia-Meet at the Kooskia National Fish Hatchery.
May 4-Winchester-Meet at the Winchester Lake State Park Boat Ramp
May 11-Craigmont, meet at the Craigmont Community Library
May 20-Monastery of St. Gertrude’s, meet at the museum.
