Boys 4x200 team breaks school record
The Prairie Track team hosted their second Prairie Meet of the season on Tuesday, April 23, and the boys 4x200 relay team broke a school record they had been close to breaking several times this season. Trenton Lorentz, right, and Dylan Uhlenkott finished 1-2 in the 200 meter dash at the Prairie Meet April 23. They also teamed with Noah Geis and Ben Secrest to break the school record in the 4x200.
The team of Dylan Uhlenkott, Noah Geis, Ben Secrest and Trenton Lorentz ran a time of 1:33.33, breaking the school record of 1:35.1 set by Pat McWilliams, Clayton Lockett, Eddie Anderson and Duane Remacle that had stood since 1995.
Kennedy Riener and Sage Elven each won 2 events. Riener won the 100 in 13.27 and the 200 in 28.39.  Elven won the discus at 130’7” and the shot put at 35’2”. She was also third in the javelin at 94’8”.
Nadia Cash won the 400 in 1:10.26. She was also 4th in the long jump at 14’4½”.
Sydney Shears won the 800 in 2:33.98.
Sierra Oliver won the 300 hurdles in 51.59. She was also 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 18.23, 3rd in the 100 in 14.09 and 3rd in the pole vault at 7’0”.
Hailey Hanson won the javelin at 97’11”. She was also 4th in the shot put at 30’4½”.
Avery Riener won the triple jump at 32’6½”. She was also 5th in the long jump at 14’1”.
Lorentz won the 200 in 22.97.
Zane Uptmor won the 110 hurdles in 18.28. He was also 3rd in the 300 hurdles in 48.05, 6th in the discus at 115’10”and 15th in the 100 in 12.49.
Matt Wemhoff won the javelin at 137’8”. He was also 2nd in the 800 in 2:16.48 and 10th in the 100 in 12.22.
Bennie Elven won the discus at 146’5”. He was also 3rd in the shot put at 42’2” and 9th in the 100 in 12.21.
Other girls results:
Aubree Geis was 2nd in the 200 in 29.38 and 2nd in the 800 in 2:36.86.
Elizabeth Severns was 2nd in the javelin at 96’2”, 3rd in the discus at 108’0”, 8th in the shot put at 27’6½” and 9th in the 1600 in 7:08.20.
Aubree Rehder was 3rd in the 200 in 29.75 and 19th in the long jump at 10’6”.
Callie Remacle was 3rd in the high jump at 4’6”, 3rd in the long jump at 15’1”, 4th in the 100 hurdles in 19.11 and 7th in the 1600 in 7:04.49.
Evelyn Gehring was 4th in the 200 hurdles in 54.09, 5th in the 1600 in 6:58.74 and 18th in the 100 in 15.56.
Ella McLeod was 4th in the 3200 in15:46.91 and 6th in the 800 in 3:15.19.
Harlee Brannan was 5th in the discus at 85’9”, 7th in the javelin at 61’2” and 10th in the shot put at 24’4”.
Megahn Fowler was 7th in the discus at 81’4”, 10th in the javelin at 43’5” and 13th in the shot put at 21’10”.
Alli Geis was 7th in the long jump at 13’7½”.
Kyra Robertson was 15th in the discus at 46’3” and 16th in the shot put at 18’3”.
The 4x100 relay team of Cash, Avery Riener, Rehder and Kennedy Riener was 1st in 53.09 while the team of Brannan, Elven, Hanson and Fowler was 7th in 1:00.67.
The 4x200 team of Alli Geis, Cash, Kennedy Riener and Shears was 1st in 1:51.16.
The 4x400 relay team of Alli Geis, Aubree Geis, Avery Riener and Shears was 1st in 4:17.05.
The medley relay team of Aubree Geis, Rehder, Alli Geis and Shears was 1st in 1:57.47.
As a team the girls placed 1st with 255 pts.

Geis was 2nd in the 100 in 11.68 and 3rd in the 200 in 24.64.
Aubree Geis and Sydney Shears in the 800 where they finished 2nd and 1st respectively.Uhlenkott was 2nd in the 200 in 23.71.
Lee Forsmann was 2nd in the discus at 143’3”, 5th in the shot put at 36’4½” and 5th in the 800 in 2:19.81.
Payton Stamper was 4th in the long jump at 18’8¾”, 16th in the 200 in 26.13 and 17th in the 100 in 12.54.
Briggs Rambo was 4th in the 800 in 2:19.29, 4th in the 110 hurdles in 20.03, 5th in the pole vault at 9’0” and 6th in the 300 hurdles in 50.21.
Secrest was 5th in the 100 in 11.81
Cole Duclos was 5th in the pole vault at 9’0” and 24th in the 100 in 12.91.
Caden Armbrust was 5th in the 1600 in 5:50.92, 7th in the 800 in 2:20.88 and 8th in the 400 in 59.57.
Levi Gehring was 5th in the 400 in 58.43 and 33rd in the 100 in 13.38.
Logan Weber was 6th in the high jump at 5’2” and 12th in the 100 in 12.32.
Nate Forsmann was 9th in the shot put at 32’11”, 11th in the discus at 104’2” and 11th in the 800 in 2:59.07.
Landon Riener was 9th in the 1600 in 6:22.37 and 10th in the 800 in 2:52.93.
Peter Remacle was 14th in the discus at 100’11” and 22nd in the shot put at 24’7½”.
Ashton Martin was 15th in the discus at 91’3” and 21st in the shot put at 24’7½”.
Hayden Johnson was 15th in the 400 in 1:04.89, 28th in the 200 in 28.78 and 34th in the 100 in 13.47.
Gabe Decaria was 18th in the 400 in 1:13.12, 19th in the long jump at 14’6”, 31st in the 200 in 29.67 and 40th in the 100 in 13.97.
The 4x100 relay team of Uhlenkott, Geis, Secrest and Lorentz finished 1st in 44.69 while the team of Gehring, Duclos, Martin and Weber was 4th in 49.13.
The 4x400 team of Wemhoff, Secrest, Uhlenkott and Lorentz finished 1st in 3:31.61.
The medley relay team of Martin, Gehring, Duclos and Weber finished 2nd in 4:10.67.
As a team the boys placed 1st with 185 pts.
