The Cottonwood Community Federal Credit Union has announced the recipients of the five $2000 scholarships being awarded this spring. The scholarship recipients are Abbie Frei, Grangeville High School, Noah Watson, Highland High School, Alli Geis and Zane Uptmor, Prairie High School and Madison Pottenger, Salmon River High School. Scholarship applicants were ranked based on an essay, participation in school activities, giving back to the community, their GPA, and a personal recommendation with special consideration given to how much the students gave back to their community and others around them. The five recipients excelled in all of these areas as well as in the classroom. CCFCU wishes them and all the other local graduates good luck in the future.  Zane Uptmor and Alli Geis were the Prairie students to be award Cottonwood Credit Union scholarships. |
