Prairie Elementary end of school award winners The Prairie girl’s basketball team held the 8th annual Duck Race as a team fundraiser. It was Hailey Hanson’s senior project. 1,140 ducks were sold this year, making it the most successful year yet. Winners are: 1) Dorothy Hanson 2) Michelle Cochran 3) Nick Shears 4) Jean Spencer 5) Rex Williams and 6) Tabitha Key The five top salesmen were: 1) Kadence Kalmbach 2) Alli Rambo 3) Sydney Shears 4) Aubree Rehder 5) (tie) Reagan Brannan and Halee Rowland The announcer this year was Jon Rehder. Lori Mader was Hailey Hanson’s mentor for her senior project. Thank you from Hailey: This is Hailey Hanson and this year for my senior project I helped Lori Mader run the 8thannual duck race. This year we sold the most we ever have, selling 1,140 total ducks! This was possible because of the amazing support we received from our community. I would really like to thank everyone who bought ducks from me and all of the girls on the basketball team. I would also like to thank Lori Mader for being my mentor for my senior project and for all of the help she provided throughout the whole fundraiser.  Team members display the winning ducks.
