This winter the Credit Union is completing an addition to the back of the building. The addition included two offices, a boardroom, and a long processing room. Part of the construction included a safe. The construction was under the leadership of James Remacle who has become a loan officer for the business. The construction included $63,000 for the building remodeling, another $8,000 for the safe and file cabinets and then furniture has been added. The next big item on the Credit Union calendar is the annual meeting on Feb. 15 at Cottonwood. The growth has been good in 2003 and plans for 2004 include remodeling an office at Craigmont and this will be opening soon. More growth is expected in 2004 with an increase of Ag, consumer and business loans. The consumer loans include house and car loans. As soon as it warms up, some of the landscaping will be done at the Cottonwood office. |
