Jr. High team takes fourth
The trip to Nezperce Monday evening resulted in a fourth place finish for Summit Academy’s junior high knowledge bowl team, as Zach Frei, Lynn Rehder, Kim Frei, Dustin Lustig, Joseph Lustig and Brianne Stubbers finished the season with an individual team score of 368, good for the fourth place finish in the field of 7 schools competing. Grangeville, CV, and Nezperce finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in that order in this 6th competition for the year. Summit’s score was determined by multiplying their team score of 245 by 150%, whereas schools with two or more teams in attendance determine their school score by adding the two scores of their top two teams. Prairie Junior High’s number one team finished third in the individual team category for the evening with a score of 330, and their combined two-team score of 345 finished them fourth in the school category. One final competition remains for the junior high academic competitors, the final one being hosted by Grangeville May 10. |
