levy passes, Gehring elected
The $263,000 override levy passed by just 5 votes in the election held last Tuesday, May 18. The final vote tally was 371 yes and 366 no for a 50.34% yes vote. Greencreek zone #1 voted 89 yes and 81 no. Cottonwood zone #2 was 92 yes and 69 no. Cottonwood zone #3 was 52 yes and 31 no. Keuterville zone #4 was 69 yes and 95 no. Ferdinand zone #5 was 69 yes and 90 no. Also up for election was trustee zone #4 where Della Gehring outpolled incumbent Dan Forsmann 95-69. In trustee zone #3 Brit Groom was unopposed and declared elected. |
