St. Gertrude’s Monastery is one of several organizations recently awarded a grant by Foundation Northwest, the Community Foundation. Over 20 non-profit organizations received grants in the spring cycle of the Community Strategies Grant Program. In all $337,985 in grants were awarded Foundation Northwest, the Community Foundation, was founded in 1974 to provide a permanent source of philanthropic capital for the community.
