Chris Reed, a Marine Pfc and Highland graduate whose family now lives in Cottonwood died recently while serving in Iraq.

Eric Mader took first place in bareback riding at the state high school rodeo and qualified to compete at nationals.

Cottonwood Community Church's Son Games Vacation Bible School has had a good turnout.

The Son Games are using the fairgrounds and city park for their venues.
