students try kite fighting; Bumper Sticker challenge nears completion
A big thanks to Rick and Dan of Les Schwab Tire Center in Grangeville,
Idaho. Summit Academy students of all ages had the opportunity to
create their own kites and fly them. An exciting event this spring
was kite fighting with our unique designs of combat kites. . . .
The Bumper Sticker Challenge encouraging designers to promote “Friendship”
ends soon. Wednesday, July 14th is the last day to enter your bumper
sticker design. You may either drop off your design at Christa Wilson’s

Chris Reed, a Marine Pfc and Highland graduate whose
family now lives in Cottonwood died recently while serving in Iraq.
Eric Mader took first place in bareback riding at
the state high school rodeo and qualified to compete at nationals.
Cottonwood Community Church's Son Games Vacation Bible
School has had a good turnout.
The Son Games are using the fairgrounds and city park
for their venues.
The Cub Scouts with their egg launchers..
The Greencreek class of 1954 recently held their 50-year
