killed in auto accident
Sarah A. George, a 17 year old from Cottonwood was killed in a one-vehicle auto accident south of Cottonwood. 
She was northbound on US 95 near milepost 249 when she veered off the roadway onto a grassy edge, overcorrected back onto the highway, crossing both lanes and rolled down an embankment. She was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene according to the report from the Idaho State Police. George was driving a 1995 Chevy Cavalier and apparently was not using her seatbelt. The accident occurred about midnight on Tuesday, July 20. Investigating officer was Cpl. Parsells with assistance from Sgt. Oswald of the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office. |
