screenings scheduled
A free Well Child Developmental Screening will be provided in September by the Cottonwood School District to all children ages birth to 5 years old. Screening will take place on Tuesday, September 7 from 9:00 to noon in the Tiny Tots Preschool next door to the Kindergarten classroom. Each child’s skills will be checked in the areas of speech and language, motor development, basic concepts, social skills, self-help skills, vision and hearing. The children will be asked to participate in play activities which will determine developmental levels. If a weak area is discovered during the screening, a team of school district professionals offer a full developmental assessment. Screening appointments may be made or further information may be obtained through the Cottonwood School District Office at 962-3971. |
