For the first time ever, a limited number of Coke cans have been transformed into GPS transponders and cell phones. Beth Forsmann of Cottonwood found one and received a special delivery on Monday from the Coca-Cola Unexpected Summer team- a 2005 Chevy Equinox and $3,000 in cash. Coke transformed 120 cans nationwide into specially designed GPS devices and put them in multi-packs of Coca-Cola. Consumers find the can, activate it, and within one week, the grand prize is delivered to wherever they are using GPS locating technology. |
