St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics will be offering flu shots during October.
Their Cottonwood Clinic will provide the immunizations on Mondays, October
4 and October 11. The Kamiah Medical Clinic will offer the shots
on Wednesdays, October 6 and October 13. Pneumonia vaccinations are also

While walking on Main Street this Tuesday morning I want to note that
the fall decorations are very attractive.
Most of the posts along Main had a stalk of corn and orange, yellow
and red leaves around the posts and corn. Some had flat scarecrows also

The Prairie Lady Pirates volleyball team lost two league matches last
week, to Highland on Tuesday and to Kendrick on Thursday, both in 4 games.

Kelby Wilson and Allison Jones were named Homecoming
King and Queen during halftime of the football game.
The senior class float "I have a dream" was judged
as the winning Homecoming float. For pictures of all the floats, click
here or on the picture above.
The PHS band leads the Homecoming parade.
Dan Altman, assistant wrestling coach, is presented
a $1000 check by theBooster Club, represented by Cheri Holthaus and Chris
Kaschmitter. The funds will go toward purchasing a new wrestling mat. The
funds were raised during the Booster Club's golf tournament held last Saturday
at Grangeville.
About 30 people attended the St Mary's Hospital CT
Open House last week. Kevin Daly, Radiology Department, explains
the equipment to Eleanor and Clark Hinkelman and Fr. Meinrad Schallberger. |
