20 eyed for Christmas parade
Monday, Dec. 20, is being considered for the Christmas parade and open house by the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce. Discussion was held at their monthly meeting Oct. 14. More information of Christmas decorations on Main and King Streets: It is suggested they start going up thanksgiving weekend. One suggestion was to use the canes from last year and the White lights from several years ago and add green garlands to the mix. $500 donation was made to help with the expenses for the City Park bike path. Denis Duman gave a report on the legislative tour for Nov.7 with about 120 coming from Craigmont to Cottonwood by bus. Needed are volunteers to act as guides on the buses. If interested give Denis a call. Work is to start on replacing the present city of Cottonwood brochures with a one-sheet full color style. Next meeting is Thursday, Nov. 18 at 8 a.m. at the Coffee Mill Creations. The meeting is one week later due to the Nov. 11 holiday. |
