Elves from the community and SMHC employees are generously choosing paper ornaments from this year's Angel Tree for children from low income families. Requests for gifts can be made through December 10. Presents must be returned to the tree by December 17 so families can pick them up on December 22 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Cottonwood was hit by snow Tuesday morning with some flakes getting a close-up view. Kelsey and Kylie Tidwell sold over $1200 in the cookie dough sale and received a $125 cash prize as top sellers. See story at left. Heidi Holubetz attended the Apple Cup in Pullman on Saturday, November 20 with her parents, Terry and Diana Holubetz and her grandparents, Jim and Janet Pope of Clarkston. Heidi and family were privileged to sit in the President's box along with Gary Locke, current Governor of Washington. The Cougars beat the Huskies 28 to 25 winning the Apple Cup for the first time in seven years. |
