Harry Raymond Jentges, 60, died May 12, at his home in Woodland, Wash. He was born at Greencreek, Id. April 26, 1944. Angela E. Forsmann, 89, died June 13 in Spokane, Wash. She was a resident of Keuterville for 30 years having been born Sept. 29, 1914 in Willowdale, Kansas. Frances Sprute Sommer, 85, died February at Port Angeles, Wash. She was buried in Cottonwood Catholic Cemetery next to her parents. Francis “Frank” Terhaar, 80, died June 2 in Spokane. Births Bryson Anthony Fry born May 25 to Tysha Fry of Spokane. Tysha was a 2001 graduate of Prairie High School. Benjamin Brain Gehring was born May 21 and parents are Brain and Becci Gehring. Derek Andrew Baker was born May 27 to Jason and Judy Baker of Tigard, Ore. Luke Patrick Sonnen was born June 5 to Darren and Dana Sonnen of Maple Valley, Wash. Engagement Kenneth L. Geis to Karie N. Hall to wed Sept. 25 at Holy Cross Church in Keuterville. Rocky D. Howe and Andrea E. Gehring to marry June 26 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Celebrations Bob and Anna Gehring to celebrate 50 year anniversary June 19 with a Mass and an open house at the Cottonwood Community Hall in the afternoon. Velma VanOyen celebrated May 30 to celebrate 50 years as a priest and his 75th birthday. Caroline Frei celebrated her 90th birthday July 4. Chris Reed, a graduate of Prairie High School, was killed in Iraq at 20 years of age. Morris Arnzen was appointed to the Benedictine Health System Foundation Board of Directors. Della Gehring was sworn in as the newest member of the school board. New cabinets and storage units have been added at the museum as the result of a grant. Deaths William J. Sprute, 60, died July 15 while moving hay equipment. He was born Aug. 11, 1944. Christopher J. Reed, 20, died July 10 in Iraq. His parents are Keith and Tammy Reed. Beverly Sarbacher, 70, died July 12, in Elk City. Sarah Ann George, 17, died July 20. Parents are Cliff and Kily George. Births Molly Katherine Johnson was born June 15 to Doug and Misty Johnson. Sunday, Aug. 15 at lot of combines harvested 320 acres in 8 hours for Fred Arnzen, who was in the hospital. Over 30 friends and neighbors drove trucks and combines taking the wheat to the elevator at Ferdinand between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. New Fair Royalty are Queen Carolyn Sonnen with Princess Amanda Cook and Sarah Forsmann. Deaths Sr. Dolores Mary Jentges, C.S.J., 75, died July 12 at Los Angeles, Cal. Dolores was born in Ferdinand Nov. 10, 1928. Ronald J. Wemhoff, 58, died Aug. 7 at his home in Tacoma, Wash. Ron was born Feb. 21, 1946 in Cottonwood. Connie Christian Loving, 56, died Aug. 13 in Brenham, TX. She was born May 13, 1948, in Cottonwood.
