Barrani
paints mural at Center for Discovery
Throughout the summer Jessma Barrani has been working on this mural at the Center for Discovery. For the past year Jessma served at The Center For Discovery as an Ameri Corps Member. As her year of service ends she is required to leave behind a legacy through what's called a program project. Jessma chose to paint a mural illustrating how children use their imagination to learn and discover new things. Jessma referred to her painting as a normal day playing outside where kids are learning as they play. This program project gave Jessma the opportunity to complete her required 900 hours of service and also shared her gift of creativity. |
