Hospital
to host memorial service
St. Mary’s Hospital will once again host a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 3 beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Dining Room to honor those in our community who have passed away during the past year. Family members and the public are invited to attend this special ceremony. The hospital will also erect a Tree of Lights on their front lawn with a string of white lights to represent those who died the past year and a string of blue lights to honor those who are seriously ill. “For those who have lost a loved one, the holidays can be a time of remembering the joy that person brought into their life. It can also be a time of sadness because we often wish they were still with us,” said Sr. Corinne Forsman, SMHC Mission Integration Director. “A Memorial Service helps us remember and recognize those we love.” |
