Jake Seubert, Brandon Poxleitner, Eli Rad, Dustin Schaeffer and Jeremy Ross – 8th grade boys who totally disassembled the bleachers at Prairie Middle School.    They stacked all of the lumber on one trailer and the metal on another.  The metal was taken to Pacific Recycling in Lewiston and the bleacher boards were sold at the Rowland Auction.  The metal brought $189.00 and the lumber $1,250.  A big thank you to the boys—we could not have completed this part of the project without their help.

After the Prairie baseball team won the state championship a couple weeks ago, Ronnie Chandler, left, took the ball he hit for a 3-run homer in the game and presented it to Gary Riener. The ball has an inscription "This is for Jake" and is signed by the entire PHS team.

The Flag Day ceremony on June 14th at the Grangeville Elks Lodge was well attended by city and county representatives, also our own Cottonwood Boy Scouts under the leadership of troop leader Rick Workman were present in force and met with our local military personnel. Shown are the Cottonwood Boy Scouts with some of the military personnel who participated in the ceremony.

During the week of June 12th-16th, crew from North Idaho Correctional Institute painted at Prairie Middle School.  The big project was to repaint the gymnasium in preparation for new bleachers which will be
installed during the month of September.  Other projects include repainting bathroom stalls and hallway cabinets.  A big thank you goes out to the crew from NICI and Lynn Guyer for making it possible for us to get these types of projects accomplished.
