July is busy month for Tri-Parish youth
Hello and happy hot July!  As summer springs into action, so do the summer activities.  It’s during these picnic, barbecuing, and sun tanning days that we soak in the warmth of the season and enjoy family, friends, and hopefully a little leisure.  Don’t be afraid to spend time enjoying and thanking God for the beautiful days as creation’s bounty reveals a Creator of love and grace in our very midst. . . .

There was a little excitement but fortunately no injuries last Tuesday, June 27 behind the Community Hall. In the top photo top car apparently slipped out of gear and rolled over the embankment hitting the lower car, belonging to Buddy and Nona Hood. Nona was inside getting ready to go home from work at the library. Minor damage was done to the upper car but the Hood’s vehicle suffered a busted mirror, broken windshield and fender and door damage. The lower photos show the work of getting the cars separated and moved. The Fred’s Body Shop tow truck lifted the front end of the upper car with a tow rope attached to the rear from Long’s Body Shop’s vehicle transporter. Once freed the Hood car was driven out of the way. Bud’s Saw Service’s fork lift was then used (bottom photo) to lift the front end of the remaining car as it was winched up on Long’s truck.

The Idaho County Fair Royalty appeared in the June Picnic parade on June 24 at Craigmont. Shown from left are Queen Bridget Enneking and princesses Tabitha Seubert and Tessica Nuxoll.
