issue flyers about tours
The St. Mary’s and Clearwater Valley Hospital Foundations distributed flyers through the five weekly newspapers in their service area last week. The flyers advertise their new round of 60 minute tours of their facilities that are free and open to the public. “Part of our mission to provide quality health care to the people in this region includes educating and informing our communities about the services, the staff and the programs available through our hospitals and clinics,” said Jim May, SMHC/CVHC Development Director. “Our employees take great pride in the meaningful work they do. During our behind-the-scenes tours our staff often describe what they do and how it contributes to our mission.” Over 400 people have participated in either CVH’s Golden Hour Tour or SMH’s Circle of Life Tour. The next tours are scheduled for Tuesday, October 31 at 8:00 a.m. at SMHC.; Wednesday, November 1 12:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 2 at 5:00 p.m. SMHC administers the Nezperce, Craigmont, Kamiah and Cottonwood Medical Clinics. “Community support and interest for our facilities is crucial to making sure we have the best doctors, nurses and equipment to help people in an emergency and for all their medical needs,” said May. “We try to make it interesting and, judging from tour feedback, people have enjoyed learning more.” Everyone is invited. New residents are especially encouraged to attend. For more information or to register for a tour please call SMHC at 962-3251. Special tours can also be arranged for businesses, sororities, school staff, civic organizations and other groups. |
