Summit jr. hi boys splits; Academic Bowl team holds on to third place in league

Thank you to the Prairie Booster Club, 5th and 6th grade basketball boosters and the Cottonwood Credit Union for the donation of money. The money was used to purchase 50 folding chairs and two chair racks for use at Prairie Middle School. (Pictured representing these groups: Chris Kaschmitter, Becky Higgins, Greg Sonnen). 


Prairie Middle School honored veterans on Friday November 10. Mrs. Sandy Riggers from Craigmont paid tribute to veterans by singing the anthem of each branch of the service represented. Veterans stood up and introduced themselves, talked about where they served and what branch of the service they represented.  In the lower photo: A number of the veterans stayed after the Middle School Veterans’ Day program for a picture. Prairie Middle School attendance winners for October are Shauna Kaschmitter and Nick Creutzberg. They each received a board game set and popcorn. 

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Pack 638 are shown after the “Scouting for Food” collection last Saturday morning. They collected 520 lbs. of food which is provided to the St. Mary’s Hospital Food Bank. If you were missed, you can drop off donations at the Food Bank located in the Simon Building. Bott and Associates, also in the Simon Bldg. Are good about taking the donations. Joe Didier, Simon Bldg. Owner, provides the space for the Food Bank.
