council has short meeting
The Cottonwood City Council had a short special meeting last Wednesday, Nov. 15 The meeting was a rescheduling of the regular November meeting, which was set for Monday, Nov. 13. A conditional use permit for Summer Emmert to open a law practice in a residential neighborhood was approved. It was reported that as her clientele expands in the future she would look to move to a downtown office space. Neither water nor sewer had much to report. In the streets report it was reported that the new street sweeper has arrived and has been put into operation. The Fire Department has received a military surplus pickup at no cost to the city that will be used for extrication equipment. A possible new maintenance building was discussed with a special meeting set for Tuesday, Nov. 28 to invite public comment.
