area now open
Cottonwood Butte Ski Area opened Sunday, Dec. 3, with only a few minor difficulties. We had a patient crowd that helped us work through the quirks in the system on the first day. We really appreciate our customers at CBSA because everyone is so helpful. We also really appreciate the Cottonwood Lions Club for their support of the ski area. All of you skiers need to find a Lion’s Club member and thank them for their service. We plan to be open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. We have excellent beginner instructors for all ages. Cliff and Mary Jane Arnzen have been providing this service for quite some time and are very good at getting everyone skiing down the hill in a timely manner. Our ski patrol is the best if an accident were to happen, so we encourage all of you to come on up and try out our facilities and enjoy the winter months with us. |
