Patriots in Christmas Tournament
The Prairie High School and Summit Academy girls and boys basketball teams will be competing in this weekend’s Prairie Basketball Tournament. On Friday, Dec. 15, the girls teams will be playing in the Prairie Middle School gym while the boys teams will be at the Prairie High School gym. The Summit girls will face Sitka, Alaska at 5 p.m. at the Middle School while the PHS girls will face Horseshoe Bend at 8 p.m. In between Kendrick will play Council. At the high school Kendrick’s boys will face Council at 5 p.m. with Summit playing Sitka at 6:30. Prairie will play Horseshoe Bend at 8 p.m. All of Saturday’s games will be at the high school. Horseshoe Bend’s girls will play Sitka at 11 a.m. followed by the boys game between the two school. At 2 p.m. Kendrick’s girls will play Summit with the Kendrick-Summit boys game at 3:30. At 5 p.m. Prairie’s girls will play Council with the matchup between the boys teams starting at 6:30. There will be medals awarded for an all-tournament team based up coaches’ selections.
