Kellie Heitman, center, won 1st (champion) trophy
in her girls division at the state wrestling tournament at Nampa recently.
The event was a qualifier for the National Tournament. Also receiving awards
were Cole Creutzberg, left, who received the 2nd place trophy in his division
and Hunter Chaffee, right, who received a 6th place medal in his
division. Of the 8 youngsters that went from our pee wee wrestling club
here in Cottonwood 5 of them placed in their divisions. Three wrestlers
were from the elementary school and the other five is from the middle school.
