reminder for high school seniors
It is time to begin thinking about your financial aid for 2007-2008. You and one of your parents will need to have a pin number in order to sign your FAFSA online. You can apply for a pin number any time at www.pin.ed.gov. If you or your parent wants to check out what information will be needed for filling out the FAFSA you may access the FAFSA on the web worksheet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/fafsaws78c.pdf . This can help you gather the needed information before you fill out the actual FAFSA form in January. FAFSAs may be filed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as early as January 1, 2007. Remember that tax returns do not need to be completed in order to file! Be sure the FAFSA is filed by February 15th, UI's priority date or by March 1st, LCSC’s priority date, so that you may be given full consideration for all types of financial aid and need based scholarships. If you plan on attending a different college make sure that you know their priority date. |
