conditions are excellent
Cottonwood Butte Ski Area was above the fog, Saturday morning and skiers were pleasantly surprised by bright sunshine when they arrived. The runs were hard pack and smooth making for some excellent skiing conditions. Prairie High School and Prairie Middle School have each visited our ski area. We enjoyed having these very well behaved students on the ski area. The community should be very proud of the young people they are raising. This coming weekend we will be open Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sun from 10am to 4pm. Sunday we will be having a Super Bowl Special. Wear something showing your favorite team and you'll get $1 off you lift pass. We will also be hiding footballs on the course, which can be redeemed for prizes.
