Ten students earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the second quarter of the 2006-07 school year at Prairie High School. A representative from Qualis Health recently met with members of the St. Mary’s and Clearwater Valley Hospitals’ nursing staff to review their clinic processes and plan for upcoming electronic medical records.  Helen Stroeble, RN, MPH, is a consultant working with the Doctor’s Office Quality – Information Technology or DOQ-IT program.  The consult is one of the services offered through Qualis Health’s Boise office. . . .

The home of Jeff and Kim Ratcliff caught fire last Thursday, Feb. 1, gutting the house and destroying everything they owned inside. The Cottonwood Volunteer Firemen got the call at 11:37 a.m. John Schmidt of Avista loaned the use of his bucket truck so firemen could douse the fire on the upper level. Benefits are planned to help the Ratcliffs. 


Above are the Prairie Booster Club’s Spirit Week winners. In the top photo Ciara Chaffee, left, and Kristi Poxleitner were the “Red out the Gym” winners while in the lower photo Hunter and Ciara Chaffee and Clark Hinkelman were the “Black out the gym” winners. Poxleitner is wearing one of the Prairie girls’ uniform tops from the early 80’s. They were worn by the 1981 and 1982 state champs. 


Mrs. Schu's class hosted Kinderbuddies this week and they were excited to help the Kindergartners create valentine fish.  Here are pictures of Hollie and Conrad, top photo, and Maria with Emma.
