Ed class to start
The first meeting for the Spring Driver’s Education class at Prairie High School will be Monday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at the Prairie Middle School cafeteria. The date of the first class will be Monday, April 9 at 6:45 a.m. Cost of taking the course through Prairie High School is $80. Before starting class students will need to obtain a Driver’s Ed Permit at the Idaho County Courthouse but don’t go get one until you’re sure you have made the cut-off for the class which will be made after this Friday, Feb. 16. To get the permit, students need to have the following: 1) a parent; 2) Certified copy of birth certificate; 3) school identification card; 4) verification of school compliance form from Prairie High School; 5) Social Security Number. The Idaho State Permit cost is $33.50. This does not include the costs for end of course driver’s testing and license which are $3 for written test, $11.50 for driving skills test (per test) and $20.50 for driver’s license. |
