TSA club attends state convention
March 8, 9, and 10th the Prairie High TSA club ventured to North Idaho College for the Idaho TSA State Convention.  Those attending were Nick Johnson, Carson Heath, Taylor Reiman, Casandra Schaeffer, Alex Richardson and Kyle Holthaus.
Kyle Holthaus received 3rd in Dragster Design. His car had the fastest time of .876 seconds in a 67 foot distance.  All four students entering into dragster design made the final 16, which has never been done before.  Casandra tied for 6th place with her dragster design. Taylor Reiman and Alex Richardson received 3rd in Manufacturing with a soap display stand they built for Sleeping Bear Soap Company.
Other events that the students entered were: Nick Johnson – dragster design, structural engineering, and problem solving; Taylor Reiman – manufacturing, structural design, problem solving ; Carson Heath – structural design, problem solving, safety poster, dragster design; Casandra Schaeffer – safety poster, dragster design, problem solving, structural engineering; Alex Richardson – safety poster, problem solving, structural engineering, manufaacturing; Kyle Holthaus – dragster design, structural engineering, problem solving.
All the students had a good time and represented our school and community very well.  They were very excited about their accomplishments and came away with ideas for next years competition.  We can all be very proud of these young people.
