St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics recently received the results from the Benedictine Health System employee satisfaction survey taken by 173 employees last January. SMHC finished higher on every question and in every category than the Benedictine Health System as a whole. 98% of SMH employees said they “…understand our Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice” and 94% said they would “…recommend our organization to friends or family members who need care.” 93% reported they “…like the kind of work I do” and another 93% said “…their work unit provides great quality and customer service.” 92% said “Our organization provides high quality care and service.” “We are really pleased with the survey results. I think it says our employees have a great deal of confidence in our services and care,” said Casey Meza, CEO. “The other CEOs within BHS ask me how we continually receive such high scores. I believe it’s pride in our work that makes the difference.” The Mission Values survey has been conducted every two years by the Benedictine Health System. |
