In the top photo McGruff the Crime Dog and a deputy from the sheriff's office came by the Summer Reading Program last Thursday to remind the children about stranger safety and drug safety.  In the lower photo Mr. Deiss also made a stop to read the kids a story and sing with them.  The day finished up with ice cream and reading awards.  The kids read a combined total of over 160 books throughout the program.
