leagues starting soon at Craigmont
Bowling leagues are starting soon at Prairie Imperial Bowl in Craigmont with the first one to start this week. Cottonwood Mixed League will get underway (or got underway depending on when you read this) Wednesday, Sept. 5. Many more leagues start next with starting with Trail Mix, a mixed league, which starts Sunday, Sept. 9. Contact person is Luke Lowe, 924-5106. Morning Glories, a women’s morning league, starts Tuesday, Sept. 11. Gladys Sonnen, 962-5957, is the contact person. Wednesday’s Wild Women start Wednesday, Sept. 19. Contact person is Pat Alfrey, 962-7230. Thursday Men starts Thursday, Sept. 13. Contact either George Renner, 924-5462, or Ernie Fischer, 937-2279. The Thursday Duds, a women’s morning league, also starts Sept. 13. Contact Ginny Canup, 924-5149. Monday Night Men’s League starts Monday, Sept. 17, Contact Roger Riggers, 924-5372. There are two other leagues that run short seasons and won’t start until sometime in October. They are the Tuesday Mixed League, which is mixed doubles bowling in the afternoon and the Friday Night Mixed League, which is also mixed doubles.
