contest winners are named
VFW Post 4902 has named the winners in their annual Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen contests. The first place winner in the Voice of Democracy contest was Christine Tiede of Highland High School. Second place went to Jessica Salas, also of Highland, with third place going to Danielle Stubbers of Summit Academy. Taking first in the Patriot’s Pen essay contest was Ashley Shumway of Prairie Middle School. Taking second was Michael Rehder of Summit with MaKayla Schaeffer of Prairie Middle School taking third. The first place winners will be advancing to district competition at Lewiston in December. |
