The weather has been a challenge this past week with school days, tricky roadways, and near whiteouts. For Cottonwood Butte Ski Area it brought thirty inches of new snow and great skiing. With it feeling very wintry outside it is hard to imagine that the ski and snowboard season is nearly half over and spring is around the corner. If you haven’t had an opportunity to get out and enjoy the slopes, now is the time. With this winter acting like winters past the Butte has great conditions for boarding and skiing. The Butte is now open Saturday and Sunday 10a.m. to 4p.m. If you happen to have Presidents Day off on February 18 come enjoy the slopes 10a.m. to 4p.m. |
