Youth activities for March
As we continue our Lenten journey, we move from the desert and look toward the resurrection of hope and new life. It is the brilliance of Easter that causes the rejoicing and helps us to see the cause for springtime in our lives and in everything around us. It is in the midst of these sacred movements we invite all the youth to join us as we come together to prepare and make way for the risen Lord. On March 3rd @7:00 p.m. the girls small group Bible Study will meet in Debbie's office. Please bring your books. On March 4th @7:00p.m. @ the JHPB the "Team for Africa" will meet to plan upcoming fundraisers and discuss travel plans. All team members are asked to be present. On March 5th @ 7:00 p.m. the Communal Penance Service will take place @ St. Mary's Church. On March 6th @ 7:00 the Communal Penance Service will take place @ St. Anthony's Church. These services are a great opportunity to come together as a community and experience the gift of Christ's healing love. On March 7 the youth co-host the Stations of the Cross and the soup supper with St. Ann's guild. Everyone is invited. At 8:00 p.m., following the soup supper the youth are invited to Debbie's office to watch a movie, following the movie we will participate in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament @ St. Mary's Church, all High School youth are invited and encouraged to attend. Come and spend some time with the Lord as you prepare your mind and heart for the celebration of the Easter season. On March 10th the Healing Prayer Group will meet @ 6:30 p.m. The location is to be announced at a later date, please watch the bulletin. If you need prayer and would like to join us, you are welcome. For questions please call Cheri at 962-3567 or Debbie at 962-7761. The Peer Ministers will meet @ Debbie's office @ 3:30 to discuss and plan the REACH session for the month. Debbie's Confirmation group will meet @ the JHPB @ 7:00 p.m. on March 12th. We will discuss Chapter 8. You must have your Bishop Letters ready to turn in and St, Report finished. On March 14th-15th we will be attending the Idaho Catholic Youth Convention in Idaho Falls. We will have 18 youth and 3 adults attending. Please pray for us as we join other youth throughout the state on this journey of faith. (There will not be a youth Mass this month), Our Theology of the Body small group will meet from 4:00 p.m.-8:00p.m.on March 18th. Please bring $7:00 for your book. On March 19th the Peer Ministers will be hosting the REACH sessions @ the JHPB @ 7:00 p.m. All High School and Jr. High youth are invited. Week 4-Spring Break- No youth activities this week On March 31st Debbie's Confirmation group will meet @ the Jr. High Peace Building @ 7:00 p.m. Please be prepared to discuss Chapter 9. The girls small group Bible Study will be in Debbie's office @ 7:00 p.m. Please bring your books. With hope, comes light.
