escapee is recaptured
At approximately 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, Idaho County had a subject escape from custody after being returned from a medical visit to the hospital. Clinton Michael Indorf, 21, who was being held pending multiple counts of burglary was later recaptured at approximately 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27 in Grangeville and returned to custody. Details of the manner of escape are not being released as it is still under investigation. Sheriff Larry Dasenbrock praised the excellent teamwork of the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, Grangeville City Police, Nez Perce Tribe and the Idaho State Police. This teamwork was instrumental in the capture of the suspect. Sheriff Dasenbrock is also grateful to the community for the multitude of calls to dispatch to assist with locating the suspect.
