The Elsie Kinzer Memorial Scholarship program was created by Neil Ousnamer when he was manager of Prairie Imperial Bowl and Neil came back to run this years bowling. A Big thanks to Neil for his help. Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors, one each, from Prairie High School area, Nezperce High School area, and Highland High School area. This year there were 16 applications for those scholarships from the three areas. The scholarships have been $200 each, paid at the start of the 2nd semester, to the college or university that are attending. With the money raised from the speculators and donations that have came in during and since the bowling, including Rose Gehring’s very generous donation of $200, there has been $559 added to the scholarship fund. Prairie Imperial Bowl and the Elsie Kinzer family wish to THANK the 17 bowlers, the 7 speculators and those that made donations to this fund. At this time we are looking forward to have the next fund raiser the last weekend of September or the 1st weekend of October. We would bowl the first 4 games on Saturday evening and the next 4 games on Sunday afternoon. |
