made at Prairie Bowl
Prairie Imperial Bowl in Craigmont has finished summer repair, refurbishing and maintenance projects and is now getting ready for fall bowling leagues to start. They put in 25 new pin spots on the pin decks, screened and refinished the lanes and sanded and refinished the pin decks and approaches. They have also installed a humpback ball return on lanes 9 and 10. They also had a new compressor and defrost board installed on one of the 3 heatpumps and installed 3 new thermostats. Total cost of these projects was over $4500. To celebrate finishing these projects and to get ready for the new bowling season they will have a fun night on Saturday, Sept. 6 starting at 7 p.m. Bowling will be free although food and drink will be served at regular prices. They are going to oil each set of lanes differently and ask the bowlers to vote on the oil pattern they like best. Leagues will be starting up in early September and all those interested, please sign up. Hope to see everyone there. Youth Football signups are set Sign-ups for Camas Prairie Youth Football will be on Wednesday, August 27th & Thursday, August 28th at 6:00 PM at the Prairie High School Football Field. Registration is $45.00 and the league is open to 3rd through 6th graders in the Prairie, Nezperce and Highland school districts. Anyone having equipment from last year can return it during registration. Any returning 6th graders need to let us know if he still has is jersey and the number.
