Dear Editor:
This year’s presidential election holds a very clear choice for pro-life
America.
Senator Obama has an extreme pro-abortion record. He has stated, “I
have consistently advocated for reproductive choice and will make preserving
women’s rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as President.”
Tragically, the Roe decision has legalized the deaths of over 53 million
unborn babies since 1973.
Senator Obama is also a co-sponsor of the “Freedom of Choice Act,”
which if passed would effectively wipe out all current federal, state and
local restrictions on abortion including any restrictions on partial-birth
abortions. At a 2007 appearance before Planned Parenthood, Senator Obama
empathically stated, “The first thing I’d do as president is sign the Freedom
of Choice Act.”
As Illinois State Senator, he voted three times against a bill that
would have protected babies who survive abortions. Even hard core pro-abortion
leaders in Congress voted FOR a similar anti-infanticide bill. This example
demonstrates how radically pro-abortion Senator Obama is.
On the other hand, Senator John McCain has voted to oppose Roe v Wade,
the Supreme Court decision that allows abortion for any reason. He has
voted consistently against federal funding of abortion and for parental
notice. And he has voted in favor of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban and
for legislation that provides protection for babies who survive abortions.
Finally, any candidate running for state or federal office that supports
or votes for Senator Obama cannot truthfully say he/she is pro-life.
Please check the record, choose life, and vote pro-life.

connection to Wm. Ayers, a founding member of terrorist group (weather
underground) who bombed in 70’s & 80’s the Capitol & Pentagon &
claimed 25 bombings?

When going to the polls please remember all our ancestors (white Christian
Europeans mostly) who settled this great country. They had tremendous
talents, multiple skills, hard workers in good times & bad times, determination
and deep belief in God given rights. These traits were handed down
to them by their forefathers who in turn inspired their offspring.
These people were mostly white Christian Europeans striving for a better
life in America. Just observe some of the local communities that
reflect the know-how, hard work, basic skills learned from their ancestors.
