Youth activities for September
Welcome back! Summer has zoomed by once again leaving behind the laziness of the beach and picnics and bringing forth the sound of school bells and sports activities. It’s a great time of year for beginning new things. It is in this newness that I would like to invite you to join the Tri-parish youth group as we gear up for another faith filled school year of activities. Next month we will begin our small groups, so please keep in contact and let me know if you have any questions or are interested in joining us, we would love to see you! On Sept. 5th we will meet at the Jr. High Peace Building to watch a movie. Following the movie we will attend Adoration at St. Mary’s Church from 10:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. All High School youth are encouraged to attend. Pop will be provided for the movie. Please bring your own snack. On Sept. 10th the Peer Ministers will meet in Debbie’s office @ 7:00 p.m. to plan the Jr. High “REACH” session. If I have approached you this summer about being on our Peer Ministry team please attend this meeting. All returning peer ministers please attend as well. On Sept. 15th @ 7:00 p.m. the Team for Africa will meet at the JHPB @ 7:00 to begin planning our African celebration. Please bring 2 copies of your pictures on CD. If you have questions please call Debbie. On Sept 17th the Jr. High Youth and High School youth are invited to attend the REACH session hosted by the High School Peer Ministers. The session will begin @ 7:00 p.m. @ the JHPB. We look forward to seeing you! The “Theology of the Body” study group will meet @ Debbie’s office @ 6:00 p.m. for pizza. Our meeting will begin @ 6:30 and finish @ 8:30. Please bring your books. All high school youth are invited and encouraged to attend! On Sept 24th @ 6:00 p.m. we will begin our monthly socials at the Coffee Mill, all High School and Jr. High Youth are invited. Please bring $5.00 for snacks and a drink. If you have questions please call Debbie. On Sept 26th a group of us will be leaving to attend the Fall Conference in Boise. Please pray for us as we travel and attend this event. Thank you for your prayers and support over the past years. It’s always an exciting time when school starts because God continues to open doors for opportunities and always seems to invite us to a new journey toward him. Please note: On October 4th at the 7:00 p.m. mass all High school youth
will be invited to sign up for small groups. We will also have Confirmation
sign up (You must be 16 or a sophomore in High School.) We will follow
the mass with a Back to School Bash. Watch the Tri-parish church
