District 1 4-H Horse Show Results
The 2008 District 1 4-H Horse Show was held Saturday, August 1 at the Lewiston Round Up Grounds. This event was hosted by Latah and Nezperce County 4-H. 92 youth from Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai/Shoshone, Benewah, Latah, Nezperce, Clearwater, Lewis and Idaho counties competed for special honors at this show. 4-H members competed in Showmanship, Western, Hunt Seat, and Bareback Equitation, and Hunt Seat Over Fences, as well as a Trail Class and Western Games. Judges for the show were Jodi Arnott of Lewiston, Idaho, and Jennifer Kuster of Washtucna, Washington. The District 1 horse show coordinators and members would like to thank the Pullman Grange, Primeland Cooperatives, Del’s Feed and Farm Supply, JB’s Sack and Tack, Sunrise Home Center, Homestead Sales, Intermountain Feed and Larry & Janis Forsmann for their sponsorship of awards.
