The Red Ribbon Week parade came through downtown Cottonwood Monday afternoon. The upper photo shows the PHS band and students leading the way. The lower photo shows some of the Prairie Elementary students with their banners and balloons. Click on the photos for larger views.

At left is John Eynon, Director of Music for the School District 242 receiving a donation check fro Chris Kaschmitter, president of the Prairie Booster Club.  John is the instructor for the music and drama classes for the 2008-2009 school year.  The Prairie Booster Club has donated $520 towards the building of the back drops that will be built for the performing arts.
