Letters
to the editor from this week's Chronicle:
To the Editor:
I am not able to transport clothing, bedding, towels, etc. to the Clothing
Bank in Grangeville this winter. Thank you to all who have donated
to this "worthy cause". Please keep donations coming as this service
is REALLY needed in our area. You can drop clothing, etc. at the
Christian Reformed Church on the corner of South 4th and Junction.
There is a covered stairwell on the west side of the church and sacks/boxes
can be left there. There is always a need for blankets; bedding of
any kind; towels and of course, all sizes of clothing. Also, PLEASE
always remember the Food Bank in Cottonwood. There are drop spots
in the back of St. Mary's Church and also in the cafeteria of St. Mary's
Hospital. At this down time in our economy I believe it is more important
than ever to remember those who have less in our society. These are
both VERY worthy causes, of which I am most compassionate! Thank
you so very much for sharing!
