Tiny Tots Learning Center kids were once again surprised with a visit from Jerry Richardson's Industrial Tech class.  Each year the high school kids make the preschool children wooden toys.  We just wanted to let Mr. Richardson and his kids know that we really appreciate them.  Thank you for this great Christmas gift. Here are Prairie’s students who qualified to shoot in the Elk’s National Hoop Shoot.  The next shoot will be held in Grangeville on Saturday, January 10th. At left are 8-9 Year Olds  Faith Uhlenkott and Jace Perrin. In the middle are 10-11 Year Olds Chaye Uptmor and Jake Bruner. At right are 12-13 Year Olds  Jacey Langston and Clark Bruno.\


Erik Schumaker and Kevin McWilliams (a Prairie High School grad) of Billings, Mont., Michael McWilliams of Helena, Mont. and Pat McWilliams of Ferdinand all had the opportunity of a lifetime. They were able to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and take a 4-day safari through Lake Manyara, Serengetti and Ngorongoro Crater. They spent 7 days on Kilimanjaro round trip so they could acclimate properly. The elevation at the summit is 19,340 feet and you can feel the difference in the air near the summit. There were no major problems and everyone returned safely.They are at the summit in the top photo while the lower photo shows the cloud shrouded Kilimanjaro.
