games rescheduled
The Prairie home basketball games against Council last Friday, Dec. 19 were postponed due to weather. They will be made up on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at Council on the way home from other games in southern Idaho. The girls varsity is set to play at noon with the boys JV at 1:30 and the boys varsity at 3 p.m. The girls are to play Greenleaf Monday, Dec. 29 in a game postponed by the state football championship game. The boys will be at Wilder Monday, Dec. 29 and Tuesday, Dec. 30 in a holiday tournament. Money raised by team fundraisers will cover costs of hotels and travel. No makeup date has yet been set for the boys game at Troy last Thursday that was cancelled. Alumni games set for Jan. 2 The Tri-Parish Youth are hosting the Alumni Basketball Games again this year. All alumni of PHS or Summit are invited to come play on January 2, 2009, at the Prairie Middle School gym. The women’s game will begin at 6 p.m. with the men’s game to follow. Proceeds will go to the 2010 mission trip to Mexico.
