Pirates win at Greenleaf
The Prairie Lady Pirates traveled to Greenleaf Monday, Dec. 29 and came away with a 54-48 victory. It was the first loss of the season for Greenleaf. The game was a makeup of a game postponed by the football state championship game. Kaylee Uhlenkott scored 19 points to lead the Pirates while Jennifer Enneking added 14 points, 8 of them in the first quarter. Kara Guyer made 6 steals. Prairie led 16-12 at the quarter break and 27-25 at the half. They outscored Greenleaf 14-8 in the third quarter to take a 41-33 lead. Full scoring stats were unavailable at press time. Prairie improves to 7-4 on the season.
